Biography
I was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, and grew up near there. When I was 20 years old, I moved to Chicago, because I love cities and still love Chicago.
I have always loved taking photographs but 12 years ago I took it up in earnest, taking a photography course at the community college where I taught. I have dedicated the last 12 years to learning everything I could about photography.
I have made excellent progress, and have been in a number of exhibitions including the Chicago Photography School, Whatever Comes to Mind Gallery, Atlanta Photography Group, Gallery by the Lake (2nd place), Alex Ferrone Gallery, MVA Gallery, and a solo exhibit at the Bellefonte Art Museum. I belong to several photography groups, one from my hometown, one from Atlanta and several in Chicago.
About Me
As an artist, my three passions are landscape photography, street photography and wildlife photography. I have been fortunate to travel the world to take landscape scenes, but in my street photographs I am much closer to home, sometimes a block away. I like to capture the vibrance of urban street life- the people, the motion, the lines, the little things.
